First Growth (Erste Gewächse)

The "first growth" Riesling coming from the estate PRINZ VON HESSEN distinguishes by a full, intense bouquet, complex structure, finesse, substance, and a promising maturation potential typical for the Riesling. Based on the "Rheingau Wine-Growing Charta," the strictest quality criteria have been established for these wines. The carefully selected grapes come from classified vineyards. The guarantors for these great wines are the selective manual harvesting, small reduced crops, and a early tasting quality inspections by an independent authority. The wines are not made available before a 12-month maturation period.
